Jamstick+ is portable electronic guitar controller which acts as an instrument and also as an e-teacher. It also comes with a companion app. This app helps you to learn various finger positioning of each chord which will help you to play a complete song with a Guitar Hero-usage interface.

The Jamstik+ Electric Guitar's body is made of plastic and in our case the color is black. There are five frets and six chords. The power and D-pad buttons are positioned on the side of the device which lets you change the tune of the guitar. That's you won't be needing a capo.

Jamstik+ Black Portable App Enabled MIDI Electric Guitar

Though the Jamstik+ is pretty useless without a device. Cause it won't make any sound without a device. We have to set it up with a Mac or IOS device or connect it via Bluetooth to get the music or melodies to play. The Jamstick+ package also contains a strap and several Picks to help you get started immediately.

Since it is an electric device so I assume you got the idea that it needs electricity to run. That says it has a battery. The lifetime of that battery is 8 hours long. Epiphone Les Paul STANDARD PLUS-TOP PRO Electric Guitar with Coil-Tapping, Translucent Blue

Before writing about anything about the Epiphone Les Paul standard plus top pro, I just want to say that this best is sponsored by the greatest guitarist named Slash AKA Malcolm Worthington Mountbatten of Guns ‘N Roses. So should I need to demonstrate anything else about this guitar, I think not. But I will.

The Les Paul standard pro is the guitar for the people who know things about guitar maybe not much but certainly not for the rookies. It has 24" Scale neck. The Neck is made of mahogany with rosewood fretboard trapezoid inlays. There are a total of 22 frets. The ship is quite like medium jumbo size. There is a long neck tenon which is glued to the body. The headstock has vintage tombstone tuners.

The size of the neck is a little bit thinner than the usual 50's fat style.

The solid body is made of Mahogany and has a black maple top. The guitar has two Seymour Duncan Alnico Pro II uncovered humbuckers. There are two separate options for volume control and tone control. It also comes with a stop bar tailpiece which adds seemingly unending sustain and makes string changes easier. The guitar got 3-way selector switch.

The stability of the guitar is without a question up to the mark. It's a god damn hell of a solid guitar. You can say it has the most stable neck of any guitar. The guitar rarely goes out of tone. It intonates well too.

6 Special Reasons & Tips For You Before Buy

So there are your top ten electric guitars. I guess now you can judge and buy the best one that suits you. But wait what if you don’t know what you should look for when you are buying a guitar. I mean you can be man or woman who has literally no knowledge about a guitar. Then what will you do? Well, don’t worry I’ll demonstrate what to look for in a guitar.

Price range

Well, technically all the guitar are under $1000. But still, they are not all cost same. There is a difference in the price. So this is the very first thing you need to look for. You have to set a price range then look for the guitar that comes in between them.

According to size and age of a guitarist

The next thing you need to know is what kind of guitar is best suited for which people. I mean you can’t handle 10 pounds of weight if you are 12-15 years old. So this is important. Generally, If you are small and have a small hand you should consider using a guitar with thinner necks, shorter scales and are lighter in weight. And if you think you are grown enough to handle anything or if you are tall and have a really big hand then consider using guitars with wider necks and longer scales.

Types of music you will play

There are a lot of guitars in the market. But don’t be surprised, not all the guitars are suitable for every music genre. Certainly, if you watch the pros, no one uses the same guitar class for all types of music. Like the guy in the Jazz band don’t use the same as the guy in the rock or metal band.

Starter Package

Now for this part, I would recommend getting the package that has all the necessary equipment. If you don’t know what they are being used for don’t worry you will get to know them in the future. And trust me you will need everything at some point.

Benefit of buying an electric guitar

Actually, the basic benefit is you will get 2 guitars for the price of one.

But there are some other benefits too.

  • In the electric guitars holding down chords are much easier and width of the neck is usually shorter than acoustic.
  • The strings are relatively softer in the electric so you will feel less stress on your fingertip when playing it.
  • The string is also light in electric guitars.
  • Another top-notch importance is you can plug headphones into your amplifier so that there is no chance of noise pollution and also the household can sleep tight. 😀

Final verdict

We have reviewed 10 top notch guitar. They are all stable, solid and very much affordable for anyone. But for the beginners, I think the best option will be the Epiphone Les Paul Electric Guitar Player Package. It has every equipment you need to start your session and pretty top of the class in all aspects possible. But I warn you guys again these guitars are all under $1000 so don’t compare them with the Gibson’s $5000-$10000 priced guitars. There will be differences between them.
